We were all geared up for a short week!
We crammed in as many learning adventures as we possibly could!

Mrs. Jennings had the kids moving and shaking making pizzas.
We also headed outside for a little twister action.
The kids had a great time playing twister with different letters.
Mrs. Collins called out a letter, color, and body part.
It was a challenge, but such a fun game!
The kids also enjoyed playing tag with different letters hiding around the room.
Some tops spun in to help us with our reading skills.
Whatever picture it landed on, the kids had to write down the letter that it started with.
In math we were busy "tossing" toast!
We had to see how many pieces landed on our plate.
However many landed on the ground, we had to organize on our 10 frame. That helped us figure out how many were on the plate and how many were off.
In the afternoon we were busy using our sense of hearing.
Each kid had a turn to pick a black canister and shake it.
Then they had to shake a clear canister to see if it was.a match.
They were excited to open it up and see if they had a match.
They LOVED this game!
We were all set for our T-Party on Tuesday.
But first... we headed outside for a presentation.
The mobile dairy stopped by and talked to the kids. They brought Louise too!
They even got to see a cow get milked!
Then we headed down to the church basement to meet the ACTS Bible study.
After singing a few songs, the kids met some very special people.
We brought them some pictures.
Shared a few stories.
We shared a few smiles too!
These wonderful people will be our Prayer Pals this year.
We are hoping to visit them once a month.
The kids might see them in church too!
We are very excited to see our new friends soon.
When we headed back to class, we kicked off our T-PARTY by reading this beautiful story.
The teapot took us on all kinds of adventures. The kids even drew their own teapot adventure to go with the story.
A T-SHIRT hunt also kept us on our toes.
The kids kept track of the letters they found by writing them down.
Who knew t-shirts had to many fun words and letters on them!
The kids also had a blast sending letter t-shirts down the zip-line.
After sending the shirt down the zip-line,
one friend had to find a picture that started with the letter on the t-shirt.
Another friend typed the letter.
And the last friend wrote the letter down.
Of course we had "tea"(a.k.a. juice) at our T-party.
They even had toast which they tore into the shape of the letter Tt.
In addition to that, we brought our special T friends to our t-party.
And of course we practiced using our good manners at our t-party.
We even practiced drinking with our pinkies out!
In the afternoon we were busy practicing our pouring skills.
First we had to guess how many smalls cups the teapot would hold.
Then they poured the tiny cup into the teapot.
The challenge was not to spill on their friend!
The kids couldn't believe how teacups it could hold!
They absolutely LOVED this game!
I told them they could try playing it in their bathtub! :)
Stacking "teacups" was also our our agenda!
It took quite the teamwork to get these to stand!
It was definitely a T-riffic Day!

She talked about the three parts of our God. I love this piece of artwork that represented God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Thank you SO much for your generosity! Our chapel offering continues to bless Bethlehem Lutheran church and school.
It was also a baptismal remembrance chapel. Happy Baptismal Birthday Maisie!
We got to work with some fun reading stations.
The kids headed outside to make some cows jump over the letter moons by using catapults.
Then their partner had to write down the letter on the "dish" and find a picture to match the beginning sound.
These kiddos were working on matching the lowercase spoon to the correct uppercase dish.
The trick was to carry the dish with tweezers to strengthen our pencil grip.
We also had fun playing Jack and Jill.
This time the kids were fetching a bucket of letters.
I told them a word, and they had to find the right letters to make that word.
Then they brought the letters back to their friends.
Once they dumped the letters out,
In the afternoon we were busy painting our memory verse.
We can't wait to share these with you!
They each turned out so unique!
We also read this amazing story that is the sequel to the nursery rhyme "Humpty Dumpty".
It is such a great book!
Then the kids got to work making their own wall for Humpty Dumpty.
These boys worked so hard to get their wall to balance.
Then the trick was to hide the egg somewhere in or on the wall.
It took a lot of patience and balance!
Then they had to use the magnetic wands to pick up the egg without knocking down the wall.
It was EGGcellent teamwork!
It was a short week, but a beautiful week of adventures!
