Whooooo had a fantastic week?
We did!
We hopped right into the letter F...
by learning about frogs...
and frog jumping letters.
Mr. Debrick even came to get in on the fun.
He helped us play leap frog over letters.
We were also busy playing other games such as GO FROG (instead of Go Fish)
and a matching frog game.
The frogs had to land on the right lily pad.
The letter F also brought fire safety to our class.
Some fire fighters came to talk to us.
They let Mrs. Reed try on their coat, gloves, and helmet.
The children were able to see that there is nothing to be scared of when they see a fire fighter.
We took our little visit outside.
We were so excited to see the truck!
The fire fighters told us all about the equipment on the truck.
They showed us some maps...
the lights...
even the inside of the truck!
Each kindergartner got a turn sitting inside the truck.
It was so fun to peek inside the truck!
We had such a great time with the fire fighters,
we didn't want to see them go.
SO we just kept asking them questions!
We are so thankful God gave us special fire fighters to take care of us.
We ended our week with some fun visitors.
We had a great time at our Harvest Party!
Some very special helpers came to our party.
We played fun games...
that kept us on our toes
and working hard.
We did a great job of encouraging our friends
and cheering each other on.
We also had fun making some fun crafts.
One was a beautiful stain glassed pumpkin.
We were also hard at work making owls.
They turned out great!
There was no disguising the fantastic fun we had at our party!
We are so excited to see what fun will pop up next week!
