We sailed our way into a short week.
In honor of Columbus Day the children had to sail to the right letter.
Balancing people was also something the kindergartners enjoyed.
We also talked a lot about pets.
They even designed their own pet houses.
We finished off the letter P with pancakes.
We made our very own pancakes.
We poured, stirred, and
mixed everything together.
We even practiced flipping "pancakes".
They had to flip the right word to match the picture.
We were also getting ready for our pancake picnic by feeding the bears.
After reading, If You Give a Pig a Pancake, we wrote about what would happen if you gave a kindergartner a pancake.
Our petite pancakes made some kindergartners laugh!
We also brought some puppets to our pancake picnic.
It was quite the picnic!
The perfect pancake picnic.
Our day was not done until we went to the pep assembly to cheer for the Cross Country teams.
The girls got 3rd place in state and the boys got 1st!
YAY! It was a perfect way to end our short week!
