Easter JOY!

Hats off to a great week of celebrations!

We said good-bye to Dr. Seuss with HAT DAY!

The children played a mixed-up hat game with Mrs. Fuhr!
We had to show off our fun hats...

to some very fun friends!

We went to go see our Prayer Pals!

They liked our hats!

They liked hearing our special Easter wishes even more!

We were excited to with them a Happy Easter!

Hat Day continued back in the classroom with more hat games.

We even went on a hat hunt!

We were ALL EARS!
We found some pink hats.

There were some stylish hats.

Some Cardinal hats.
And even some winter hats.

No matter what hat we wore...

We were filled with smiles and friendship.

March Madness continued in our classroom with BASKETball.

Mr. Debrick came to join us.

He showed us how to shoot and rebound.

We also practiced our dribbling skills.

We made a different kind of basket too... EASTER baskets!

Mr. Debrick also led our special Maundy Thursday chapel service.

After chapel we went on an exciting journey.

We went around delivering Easter eggs.

We also told people a special Easter message.

Some eggs we hid on people's desks.

We headed  over to school to share the good news.

We told Mrs. Schmidt.

We told Mrs. Wegener.

Mr. Debrick was in a meeting, so we were tricky and left the egg on his door.

The kids swarmed Mr. Marolf with a giant hug and told him ALLELUIA!

We then found the music teacher Mrs. C in her classroom! She was excited to hear the good news too!

It was Mrs. Kirby's birthday, so we had a lot to tell her!

Next we talked about NEW LIFE!

We made some beautiful, symmetrical butterflies!

We had one more special delivery to get done.

We hid eggs in Mrs. Smith's second grade class to brighten their day.

FINALLY it was time for a little hunting of our own.

The children took their baskets and headed out!

They looked everywhere!

They looked high!
They looked low.
They found some eggs on top of tables.
They found eggs inside of tables!

We worked hard to find all of the eggs.

We found one very special egg.

It had a seed inside to remind us of new life in Christ.

It was a great celebration!

He is RISEN INDEED!  ALLELUIA!
