Positively Perfect Week!

It was a positively perfect week!

We kicked off the week learning about pets.

We even created our own pet stores.
A few pupPETS showed up too!

Tuesday was pizza day!
Mrs. Fuhr played a pizza game with them, adding toppings to their pizzas.
We had our own little pizza store.
The kids ordered from a menu and created their own  pretend pizzas.
They even took "inventory" on the pizza boxes, finding all kids of fun words.

Then of course the kindergartners made their very own REAL pizzas!
They stretched out the dough.

Spread on the sauce.

Sprinkled on some cheese.
Added some toppings AND MORE CHEESE!

Mmmm... the perfect pizza!

What good cooks these kindergartners are!

Wednesday was a very special day...

As we made our own "Palm Sunday" parade!

Thursday was GREEN DAY!

We figured out yellow and blue make...

GREEN!

We also made green eggs and ham!

The children recorded on the SMARTboard whether they liked it or not.

Most of them did!  Some even asked for the recipe!

A little leprechaun came by and measured some fairies for their shoes.
It was a great shoe store!

Shamrock families was another fun activity we tried out.

Then came the OOBLECK!

The kids weren't quite sure what it was.

Some really didn't like how it felt!

Others LOVED it!
Friday Mrs. Martin came to see us.
She talked to us about a PATH prayer...
P-is for PRAISE
A-is for APOLOGIZE
T-is for THANKSGIVING
H-is for HELP

We then took a little trip over to church.

We acted out the story of the Last Supper.

Serve one another in love.

We washed and dried each other's hands.

Next we passed around the bread.

Then we passed the "wine".

We finished our meal with a special hymn.

We ended the morning by praying together.

In the afternoon more special visitors came...

MY DAD and MOM!

They played cards with us.
My dad is quite the card shark!

My mom likes to get a little messy!

She painted the kids' feet.
Some thought that it tickled!

They practiced being servants...

Washing each other's feet like Jesus did!
They also dried each other's feet.

Let us ever walk with Jesus.

We also talked about rainbows.

They each got the primary colors, (red, yellow, and blue).

They turned those three colors into a rainbow!

One more special visitor came as our fun Friday reader!
It was a great way to end our perfect week of learning adventures!

We can't wait to see what memories we will build next week!
