Look what popped up this week!
We kicked off the week with some fun kangaroo adventures.
After reading the story called Katy No Pockets
The children had to match up the right "pocket" to the right kangaroo.
Then they had to put the joey with the correct letter on his belly in the right mama kangaroo.
The kids also had a great time working with keys and locks.
The locks had a letter on it.
The keys had pictures on them.
They had to find the right key

that would unlock the correct lock.
They even painted over keys
turned into a masterpiece!
They also unlocked their imaginations and created something that their key would unlock.
Look at this castle!
The kids a great time creating letters
and then making them look fancy with beads!
Some kids even made patterns on top of the letters!
We also took our alphabet adventures outside.
Mrs. Collins took the kids for their morning walk and they picked up some special "treasures".
The challenge was to turn the natural treasures
into letters!
Can you guess what letters these kids created?
The kids also did an amazing job of creating with the different sizes of alphabet blocks.
AND they had a big challenge of putting alphabet rocks in the right order.
Next up was feeding the elephants!
The kids had to feed the elephants peanuts and their friends had to find the number to match.
After reading the a couple of books about a colorful elephant named Elmer...

The kids had fun creating their own Elmers.
The also played a game where they hid their eyes
and a friend hid an elephant behind a colorful elephant.
Then they had to guess which number the elephant was hiding behind.
Building elephant bridges
was an another challenge these kids faced!
These kids never cease to amaze me with the things they come up with!
Everybody had their own unique idea!
Some even challenged themselves
to make it tall and get it to stand.
I think we have some future architects!
The kids then had to design a better place to balance an egg.
They took pattern blocks to create a safe place for the egg to rest.
They even made patterns while creating their "nests".
It was exciting to watch their wheels turning
to figure out a way to get the egg to balance!
Some made short, sturdy nests.
Others challenged themselves
to see how high they could make it!
It is exciting to see how proud of their creations they are!
It was also another GREAT week to be outside
and enjoy the beautiful weather God blessed us with!
These boys were trying to put on a puppet show with their hands.
We will be back next with more outdoor adventures!
It was also a SUPER week
to celebrate ZERO HERO day!
The kids had a great time lassoing
the super hero letters.
Hang in there...
These SUPER kids
are ready for more SUPER adventures!
AND of course more MESSES!
