We put our best foot forward for a SUPER week with the letter S!
We kicked off the week with some silly socks!
We read with socks,
as well as read and sorted socks.
We also had fun measuring socks,
weighing socks,
and even setting up a silly sock store!
A special sock hop
also landed in our classroom!
A fun visitor stopped by to teach us some Spanish!
She brought her friend "Poncho" to help her!
The children had a great time with both of our visitors.
Mrs. Rutledge definitely left us with a "sonrisa"!
The children asked if Mrs. Rutledge could come back every week. :)
A blizzard of snowy fun showed up in our room!
We found letters buried in snow...
and worked hard to create our own snowflakes.
No two snowflakes were the same!
Just like kindergartners!
On Wednesday some very special people showed up!
We celebrated Donuts for Dads...
with some very special dads!
After we had a few donuts...
We headed over to chapel.
Mr. Marolf led our chapel.
He reminded us how great our dads are.
We love our dads!
What great way to start the day!
Back in the classroom we were not finished with our snowy adventures!
We were busy balancing "snow".
The kids were amazed at my balancing act!
Our snowy fun continued with...
a snowball fight!
They were snowball throwing machines!
After they threw the snowball,
they had to read the word.
It was so much fun...
we decided to have another snowball fight
one on one style!
We are looking forward to some more fun adventures next week!
