Lutheran Schools Week

Do you hear that sound?
That is the sound of one SUPER week!
We kicked off Lutheran School's Week with Pajama Day!
Lots of different pjs showed up!

Including Hello Kitty,

Shopkins
and Star Wars.

Even some fun stuffed animals showed up!

The children also had fun going on a pajama hunt
and looking for different pajamas all around the room.
Measuring their special stuffed animals
also brought smiles to their faces.
Pajama day was  a GREAT way to start off the week!
Fake Injury Day left us a little battered and bruised, but we survived!

Mr. Marolf even stopped by and surprised us in his wheel chair!
Painting with ice was completely injury free.

Although a few of us were a little concerned
about how it all it worked.
The results weren't pretty, but it sure was fun!

Wednesday brought in a few crazy characters!
We had some FROZEN characters...
some lovely mermaids and princesses,
and a few characters from a variety of movies.

It was also a special day because we had a school wide chapel.

Mr. Debrick shared with us a message about how Jesus is our rock.

It was AMAZING to hear our whole school singing and praising God.

We also had some wonderful volunteers who served us hot chocolate.
It was a yummy treat for another exciting day!
The excitement continued to build with SPIRIT DAY!
We definitely have BOBCAT Spirit!
We had a great time cheering for letters!

Give me a S!  Give me a U! Give me a N!  WHATS THAT SPELL?!

YAY! Reading is so fun!

A crazy visitor stopped by... Mr. Marolf had quite the Bobcat Spirit!
We took our spirit down to the gym...

for an exciting volleyball game!

It was the teachers vs. the 8th graders!
The kindergartners were full of spirit...

as they cheered
and yelled!
The 2nd graders even let them borrow some signs!

In the end the teachers pulled out a close victory!

It was a great game...
and a great day!
Friday was HoliDAY!
We dressed in our favorite holiday outfits.

Friday some fun 6th graders also stopped by.
They helped us write letters

 to some college kids.

They also read to us

some exciting stories.

We read to them too!
What a great bunch of kids!
Our 100th day was also something we were getting ready for so stay tuned...

This will be a hard week to top, but we will give it our best try!

Student of the week...

Her favorite colors are  purple and pink.
She likes chicken noodle soup.
If she could go anywhere, it would be Sanibel Island.
She wishes she could have a guinea pig for a pet.
If she could have a superpower it would be firepower.
She likes cardinal birds and unicorns.
She loves her family.
Her favorite Bible verse is:  Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, and mind.
She is glad that God made the earth and us.
