We had a BALL this week reviewing letters and popcorn words.
The kids dribbled and passed their way through their popcorn words.
We also enjoyed some fun visitors
who came to talk about their talents and jobs.
Mr. Buehrle even brought some fun things to show the kids
and let them try on his jersey.
Then we headed to the gym where he warmed them up with some stretches.
Then he pitched to the kids
and helped them with their batting.
The kids pitched to him too!
He of course hit a homerun!
It was such a great day.
The kids didn't want him to leave!
After writing to an artist,we read a book called Sky Color.
The book inspired us to be artists and create our own murals.
It was AMAZING to watch the kids work together to design their own mural.
They didn't want to stop working!
Another special visitor arrived to talk about his job as a police officer.
He brought a special helper! His dog K-9 Phoenix.
This dynamic duo taught us a lot and shared a few tricks too!
The kids did a GREAT job of asking questions.
We hope to see Officer Fischer again soon!
We had one more group of special visitors show up!
Some incredible moms came to school!
We had so much fun with them!
