A TREEmendous week!

We were rolling our way
to a week filled with some crazy fun!

We had TREEmendous fun

decorating our tree with our own hand made Christmas ornaments.

Mrs. Haun stopped by

to read to us some GREAT stories
that had us smiling and laughing!
We LOVED having her come to read to us!
Our TREEmendous fun continued as
we designed our own Christmas trees.
We even made some fancy ones

out of pattern blocks.
Syllable  sorting on the SMARTboard with Christmas trees was also a fun activity.
We worked on making gifts this week too.

and gift matching...
AND gift giving as we stuffed stockings.
On a cold December day

it was nice to warm up with some hot cocoa!

The 5th graders were raising money to buy presents for a special family.
It was a yummy treat and a great way to help a family in need.
Pastor Rouland led another great chapel this week.  He was talking about the shepherds.

The preschoolers also did a great job of singing AND ringing bells!
Mrs. Martin's Spanish students arrived to help us celebrate Las Posadas!

They gave each of the kindergartners a lantern,

and we headed over to the church basement.

The kindergartners each stood by a door

as "Mary" and "Joseph" traveled to each inn.

Each inn they went to

the answer was the same.

No room!  Keep moving.
Finally the last room had a stable out back.
We celebrated with a pretend Piñata

and a candy cane.  :)
We ended our week with Polar Express adventures.

The kids needed a special ticket to be the conductor on Mrs. Fuhr's train.

The kids also had fun with bells.
They used magnetic wands to make them dance.

They had quite the jingle creations.
Another week full of smiles!
AND we are counting the days until Christmas!
