What a Wonderful World

Do you hear the sound of fun?  It was quite the week!
We had a wonderful time celebrating Earth day all this week.

First we were learning about new life...

as we created symmetrical butterflies.

We even gave our alphabet butterflies some flowers to land on.

Celebrating the Easter story in gym class...

was GREAT fun!
We ran to the tomb...
and looked inside.

Then we pretended to be Peter and John and look inside the tomb.

He is risen indeed!  ALLELUIA!

We also had a great time working with JUNK!
They built some amazing "Trash Towns".
These creative minds also worked hard to invent things out of junk...

as we talked about reusing junk.

We also celebrated new life and Earth Day by heading to Towne Park for a very special field trip.
We were able to see and feel animal skins.
The outdoor classroom was a great place to play and discover.
Of course we went on a couple of special hikes too.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day to celebrate God's Wonderful World!

It was hard to leave such a wonderful place.

Back in the classroom we continued to talk about our world...

as we learned to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

Mrs. Haun even came in to read to us a very special book.

She had a few surprises to share with them too!

By God ALL things were created.
Colossians 1:16
