One lovely week!

We leaped right into...

another lovely week!

It was filled with more learning adventures!

We started off learning about pennies.

They are on their way to being SUPER SHOPPERS!

We also had fun painting fall pictures...
and creating some very interesting pumpkin patches.

They had to pull out a number, and that's how many pumpkins they had to grow.

Tuesday was a very special day for us!

We headed over to the church basement...
not just to visit with Pastor Rouland...
but to visit with our Prayer Pals too!
We brought them special pictures...

and cards.
We had a few stories to tell them too!
They also had a few stories to share!
They had us grinning from ear to ear.
We had them laughing and smiling too!

What an amazing group of people

 praying for kindergarten.

AND the kindergartners are excited to pray for them too!
We can't wait to stop by again

and share more fun stories with them.

We said good-bye with smiles on our faces and smiles upon our hearts.

Some of the children didn't even want to leave!

Wednesday brought us to the church basement again!
More fun visitors came to see us!

This time it was our moms!

We shared a special breakfast

and a few more smiles too!

It was a great way to start our morning!
Some moms joined us back in the classroom.

We even had a chance to share a few Bible verses with them.

Some were also able to join us for chapel.

What a special day!

Next we headed outside for a leaf hunt.

We walked all over Zion looking for leaves.

We had to really hunt for some leaves this year!

We found some big ones...

and little ones too!

After finding some leaves...

we worked together to make a pile of leaves!

After making a HUGE pile...
we decide to enjoy our hard work!
Each child was able to run through the leaves.

Some even leaped over the leaves.

Others JUMPED over the leaves.

It was amazing to watch how much fun they had!

It was the perfect day for a leaf hunt.
We then decided to investigate our leaves.
We even measured them and drew pictures of them.
We finished off our week with another visitor.

A librarian from Kisker Library came to read to us.
She even taught us a few fun songs,
and we voted for our favorite story.

Rex Wrecks It! by Ben Clanton was the winner in our class.

We loved visiting with the librarian so much...

we created our own library in our classroom.

The children had a GREAT time checking out books with their library cards.

To finish off the day, we talked about voting.

We voted for our favorite letter in the alphabet.

We then dropped it in the ballot box.  Next week we will find out who is the winner!

Our week would not have been complete without the beautiful music

these children created in church!

WOW! They did an incredible job
of leading the congregation in worship
and praising God with their voices!

We can't wait to see what we have lined up for next week!

STUDENT OF THE WEEK...
She is five years old.
She is fast.
She has two sisters.
Her favorite food is roni and cheese.
If she had a super power, she would want super cat speed.
Her favorite Bible story is about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
