It was time for more learning fun this week!
We finished up our "letter" campaign by making some campaign posters.
We then gave some very persuasive campaign speeches.
Finally it was time to cast our vote.
The lines were a little long, but not too bad.
Some voted for "R" others for "L".
In the end "L" was the winner!
Another beautiful week took us on a nature hunt.
We went all over Zion's campus looking for signs of fall.
We found acorns, a squirrel looking for acorns, a bird, and a pinecone.
We kept hunting and found some flowers...
and even some tiny mushrooms.
The kids had a great time enjoying God's creation.
Thursday Mr. Debrick had a very special reading challenge.
He read to all of Zion's students all day long.
We always enjoy spending time with Mr. Debrick!
We wished him good luck and hoped that he wouldn't get "too tired"!
Later we had fun exploring some of the things we had found on our nature walk.
We discovered acorns are very interesting to look at and balance!
We finished our week by retelling our Bible story of Joshua and the battle of Jericho.
The kids were excited to march around the city of Jericho, but quickly got tired after the first 3 laps.
On the 7th lap they yelled with all of the their might, blew their trumpets, and cheered for God!
They yelled SO loudly, they knocked the wall down (with the help of some WONDERFUL 5th graders!).
The kindergartners were SO amazed and surprised!
They will never forget that story or that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD! :)
It was one FANTASTIC week!
