We leaped right into this week...
as we hopped like kangaroos with the letter K.
We also had quite a few visitors...starting with some fun firefighters.
They taught us a few fire safety tips like "stop, drop, and roll".
A brand new firefighter showed up.
The kindergartners were able to see...
and touch some firefighter equipment.
It was fun to see all of the equipment...
but there had to be more right?
We then got to go outside to see the firetruck.
We were even able to go inside the firetruck!
It was quite exciting!
The firefighters then took the time to show us around the truck.
It was a great visit...
We were sad to see them go!
We are so thankful for all these brave firefighters do for us.
We moved right onto the letter L and Legos.
Mrs. Haun also showed up read to us a fun story about leaves.
It was a great story...
and another great visit.
We were inspired by the story to go on a little leaf hunt.
We went all over school looking for leaves.
We found some big ones and little ones...
and then we started piling up the leaves.
It took teamwork...
but we made a huge pile of leaves!
A perfect pile to run through
and LEAP over!
Who knew leaves could be so much fun!
What a beautiful fall day to celebrate God's creation
and friendship.
More visitors stopped by to help us count leaves.
A "new principal" came to help us find our leaves.
We even measured and examined our leaves.
We ended our week with one more GREAT visitor!
She had us laughing with delight!
She told us some great stories...
We went looking for ladybugs and lions...
We weren't scared!
We LOVED our favorite librarian!
We were so inspired by Miss Julie...
We created our own library.
We checked out a few books...
But we were careful to return them!
Another great week filled with blessings
and friendships.
