We were all lined up for another exciting week!
Monday we began working on patterns.
A special robot named Roger even came to inspect our patterns.
The children also enjoyed playing Letter Red Rover...
"Red Rover, Red Rover send the letter that goes 'r,r,r' right over!"
Tuesday was a very special day for us.
We meet some wonderful new people!
We met our Prayer Pals.
We made cards for them...
and asked them a few questions.
They read to us a few fun stories.
and asked us a few questions too!
We can't wait to learn more about each other and
share a few more fun stories.
Best of all...
we can't wait
to pray for each other.
We are blessed
with an amazing group of people
that we can now call...
our friends.
Tuesday we were also excited for another special treat!
The third grade lemonade stand was open for business.
Some kids said it was the best lemonade they have ever had!
Most importantly they raised over $1000.00 for the Clausing family!
Cheers to some great lemonade and a great success!
APPLE ADVENTURE DAY...
brought smiles to our faces!
We started off by looking at the insides of the apple...
Next we were able to paint with them.
They made wonderful designs.
We even played a few games with apples
that had us guessing and grinning!
Next we did some investigating.
We had to check to see what made our apples unique.
Some had bumps and bruises
some had spots or marks.
We then took an even closer look at them and recorded our findings.
We also balanced and weighed the apples.
Mrs. Fuhr helped the children core the apples.
Who knew it was such hard work!
The best station was probably the taste testing station.
It was DELICIOUS!
Then we voted for our favorite kind...
The favorite in our class was pink lady!
More apple adventures came when some wonderful first graders came to help us.
They helped us with some special apple projects
and left us smiling from ear to ear!
We ended the day with some home made applesauce!
Kindergartners are good cooks!
The letter B brought some very beautiful bugs.
We also had fun with bean bags
and being bucket fillers!
To end our week...
we learned about being a writer.
The children were so excited to write stories, they didn't want to stop!
The fun just keeps coming...
