Red Rover Red Rover... send the FUN right over!
We kicked off Red Ribbon week by playing a fun game of RED ROVER...
Kindergarten style!
After figuring out which letter to call
the kids RACED to the other team!
It was one exciting and exhausting game!
We also had fun dressing like our "DREAM JOB" on Monday.
We had some police officers and firefighters.
A couple of vets
and those who wanted to take care of dogs.
Others who loved sports.
And still others who would like to be an artist or fashion designer.
We also had someone who wanted to take care of baby chicks.
And another who wanted to be a pilot!
No matter what job they choose...
I know God has great plans for all of these kids!
Tuesday we were celebrating being DRUG FREE.
We wore our favorite holiday outfit.
It was definitely a day full of smiles
and joy!
Once again we were a movin' and groovin' in chapel this week!
Mrs. Lohmann is quite the dancer!
We had a very special visitor lead our chapel this week!
Mr. Kuhlmann talked about how God is ALWAYS with us
all the time and every season.
After chapel some more special visitors stopped by.
Student Council stopped by to give us an important message.
They gave us some helpful health tips to keep our bodies safe and healthy.
What a great day to celebrate the wonderful bodies God has given to us!
Wednesday was a SUPER day!
It might make some people a little "batty"
but it actually was a day full of WONDER!
We celebrated superhero day by talking about firefighters.
The kids had to line up the alphabet houses.
Then they had to make sure the fireman had the right hat.
Finally they had to save the right house
by making the sound of the letter the fireman would say.
It was a SUPER day indeed but more SUPER exciting things were headed our way!
Thursday we took an AMAZING trip to Lutheran Hour Ministries!
We recorded a song while we there with the help of our music teacher, Mrs Coad! We can't wait to share it with LOTS of people!

We also had some more fun adventures there!
We learned a little about Mongolia.
Then we tried three sporting events from Mongolia.
Wrestling!
Which... we actually thumb wrestled!
Archery!
The kids used rubber bands to try to hit the bulls eye!
The third event was horse racing!
The kids had to take a paperclip
and magnet
and see who could get to the finish line first!
We had some really fast horses!
The kids also heard a story from a wonderful story teller!
AND had a snack of course!
We even had a chance to get a tour of their recording studio.
The kids had some very good questions.
My favorite part of the tour was hearing the kids all quietly start singing "Jesus Loves Me" as they walked through the halls!
What an amazing little group of tiny witnesses!
Pastor Ziegler ended our tour with a GREAT chapel. It was a very special day!
Back in the classroom some wild animals appeared!
But they seemed pretty friendly!
It definitely was a MAGICAL day!
Our week wasn't done... some firefighters showed up
to help us learn about fire safety.
They also gave us a tour of their truck!
They were so kind
and even helped us tie our shoes!
They also gave us a hat
and a sticker!
We had lots of good questions for them.
We had a GREAT time outside...
There was more learning to be done inside!
Firefighter Brian showed us some of his gear.
He reminded us that we don't ever have to be scared of fire fighters.
They are there to help us not hurt us.
He did a great job of answering all of our questions (and listening to our stories!).
What a blessing to have such awesome people keeping us safe!
To end our great week we had some more fun visitors stop by!
Some wonderful moms came to help at our Harvest Party!
We started off the party with a YUMMY snack!
We did a fun pumpkin craft
that turned out GREAT!
Mrs. Coffman did a great job of coming up some fun games for the kids to play!
They had to balance the pumpkin balloon on a funnel.
It was a little trickier than the kids thought it would be.
Boy was it exciting to watch them do it!
The kids also had fun with pumpkin toss!
They even came up with some creative ways to toss the pumpkin. :)
Bean bag toss was also a big hit!
They worked hard to knock those cups down!
Bingo also brought lots of smiles to the group!
It was a GREAT party!
A GREAT day!
And one SUPER week of adventures!
