Ready, set, GO!
We were ready for another great week of learning adventures.
Our first stop was a visit from a pilot.
The kids were GREAT listeners and learned a lot of interesting fun facts.
It was a great way to kick off our week!
Tuesday another visitor stopped by to talk about teaching Japanese.
She even taught the kids how to write their own names in Japanese.
She is a great teacher!
We also tried out other jobs in our classroom...
like a banker
and an artist.
Learning about being an author and illustrator led us to fun adventures with MO WILLEMS.
We love reading Elephant and Piggie books.
The kids have become such great readers!
My brother also "stopped" by this week.
The kids had a great time talking to him about being a coach (he had a great time too!).

They did a great job of reminding us of 10 things we should never forget over the summer.

We were also practicing being road workers and police officers

as we drove our way through the town, stopping at popcorn words.
We were also very excited to share our wheels projects.
The kids are so proud of their hard work!
Each one is so amazingly different and unique.
It was a great way to wheel back through the alphabet.
Stop by our hallway
and see some of these amazing creations!
We had two more visitors stop by on Thursday.
This wonderful police officer and amazing dog were quite the dynamic duo.
The kids were amazed
by the fun tricks and "games" they played.
Even though K-9 Phoenix is a great police dog
he is such a friendly dog.
The kids did a great job of learning and listening.
It was another great visit!
Our week wasn't quite over yet...
We headed out on the bus
to the MAGIC HOUSE!
It was a magical day indeed!
Here are a few pictures from this special day...
I'm sure it will be a day these kids never forget.
I can't believe our final week is just around the corner!
