One EXCELLENT week!

We were back after a great Thanksgiving break!

We were ready to do some exploring.

We went looking for the letter E.

The letter E kept popping up all over the place.
There were posters and pictures with E's.
We even found the letter E on Mrs. Derrington's shirt!
It was quite the exploration adventure.
The hard work continued at our "egg store".

The shoppers picked a helper...

to write down their prices

and a helper to pick out their eggs!

However, they couldn't buy their egg until they did a few exercises.

The EGGcitement continued as the children hid eggs.

They hid two mystery eggs
but they had to read the secret words before they could keep it.
Elmer the Elephant showed up too!

We had fun creating our own Elmer!

He was quite the patchwork elephant!
The kindergartners also had fun creating elephant bridges.

We have some future engineers on our hands!

The best part of our week came on Wednesday as we celebrated the beginning of Advent with the 5the and 6th graders at chapel.

We also painted our hands...
to create our own Advent wreath!

We balanced out our week...

by getting a little messy!

We made our very own Christmas ornaments.

A few elves also showed up this week!

We hid the elves...

and had to figure out which number they were behind.

The kids also had fun building and hiding elves in elf houses.

It was one EXCELLENT week with the letter Ee!
