He has risen indeed! Alleluia!

HATS OFF TO ANOTHER GREAT WEEK!

We had one final celebration of Dr. Seuss ...
with HAT DAY!

We played a game with hats...

trying to fix mixed-up sentences.

We even hunted for hats.
We had to read the clues in order to find them.

I think Dr. Seuss
would have enjoyed our Hat Day!
I know we did!
We bounced our way right to the letter B on Wednesday.

Mr. Debrick joined us for gym class.
He taught us a thing

or two about basketball.

We worked on shooting...

and dribbling.
We've become quite the basketball players!

NBA here we come!

We also learned about a different kind of basket...

EASTER BASKETS!
We got ready to deliver some special Easter eggs.
We snuck down the hallway with baskets full of special eggs.
Shhh...we stopped by the 5th grade room first.
We made our way down the hall...

Next we stopped by the office.

We didn't just deliver eggs...

We delivered a special message...

He has risen indeed!

Alleluia!

We found some more special people over at church.

We left them with an egg
and some smiles too!

We tried to sneak up on Pastor Reitz...

But he caught us.  :)

We made one final stop to brighten the cooks' day!

We also talked about butterflies...

and how they remind us of new life.

We painted our own beautiful butterflies.

We were so excited to see what happened when we opened our butterflies.
Finally it was time to go on our own egg hunt.
We had our baskets in hand...
We were off looking for those eggs!
We looked everywhere.

Some were pretty easy to find.

Others we had to hunt for.

We even found some special treasures.
We found a wooden cross hidden with a special egg
that reminded us of new life.
ALLELUIA!
