A Jolly Good Week...

Our week was JAM packed with fun!

We kicked off the week with Jelly Bean Day!

We examined jelly beans...
searching for only the perfect jelly beans.
We weighed them...

and smelled them just to make sure they were good.

We did find a few Belly Flops!
We also sorted jelly beans by color...
and then bagged them up.

Measuring with jelly beans was another fun activity.
And of course we painted with jelly beans!
We made those jelly beans jump!

Our Jelly Bean day would not have been complete without a little taste testing...

SWEET SUCCESS!

Tuesday brought with it a few messes!

After learning about an artist named Jackson Pollock...
We decided to do a little painting of our own!
Mr. Debrick even joined in on the fun...
We painted with "junk"...
threw paint...
rolled paint
dripped paint...
and threw ping pong balls in the paint.
The result were some wonderful master pieces...

a lot of smiles!
Good thing we're washable!
Wednesday a new fun teacher showed up!
Ms. W. "jumped" right in and helped teach gym class.
We have quite the jumpers in kindergarten!

Next we headed to chapel.
Mr. Marolf helped us celebrate Earth Day.
Recess was great fun with our new teacher!

Ms. W. lined up all the kids...

then we headed back to class where she taught us about the letter J...

read us some fun stories...

and helped us with a special Earth Day

painting project.

To end our celebration of Earth Day...

We went outside and picked up junk.

The wind made it a little tricky but we did our best!

It was a GREAT day with Ms. Wood!
EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it!

It's time to save the earth!
We learned all about recycling and how we can take care of the earth!
We finished our week with another great visitor.

To help us celebrate the letter J...

we learned how to juggle!
Mr. S. showed us lots of fun tricks!

He even juggled between his legs!

He was AMAZING!
It was one great week!

We can't wait to see what happens next week...
