It was short week
but a very exciting one!
Monday we celebrated our 100th Day of school!!!
What a blessing to be at school for 100 days!
We kicked off our morning by hopping all the way to 100.
Our 100 day pocket chart is now complete!
The kids celebrated all day long doing a variety of 100 activities.
Their brain worked hard to figure out how to use pattern blocks
to make the shape of "100"!
The kids built with 100 legos.
We challenged ourselves to read 100 books.
After counting up all the tally marks, we discovered we had read 108 books!
We also had fun making 100 handprints.
We figured out how far 100 steps would take us.
We discovered from the Commons to our classroom is 100 steps!
The kids LOVED making AND eating 100 pieces of snack!
The kids did a great job of making their own hop scotch course
as they practiced counting by 10's.
They absolutely LOVED the challenge
of building something together
out of 100 cups!
Sometimes it was a challenge to get it to stay standing!
But in the end it stacked up to be a great creation!
100 days of school...
100 days of memories...
100 days of blessings...
100 days of being surrounded by God's amazing love!
We also worked hard this week on filling each other's buckets...
We read this GREAT book by Carol McCloud.
It taught us how to be bucket fillers instead of bucket dippers!

It was time to celebrate Valentine's Day.
The kids worked hard measuring valentines.
They had a blast delivering their valentines.
What incredible boxes these kids brought in!
Each one was so unique and creative.
The kids even clapped for each other's boxes when we did Show N' Share!
Another challenging activity was searching for "popcorn" words on the valentines.
The kids loved looking at some of my old valentines and trying to find words they could read and write.
A special 10 frame game had the kids counting
and making patterns.
We were also busy balancing
our 100 Show N' Share bags
along with some fun heart shapes and valentines.
Our Valentine's Day Celebration
continued with some messy painting!
The kids picked out some colors
and began scraping them all together.
Then they designed a heart to complete their masterpieces!
The kids were VERY excited to fill each other's buckets with a special game.
They had to toss a heart
a snowball,
or a ping pong ball into a bucket.
They took aim and tossed away!
If they got it in the bucket,
they got a prize from the famous treasure chest!
They each had their own unique style of tossing...
They were so EXCITED when they got it in the bucket!
It was such a great week
filled with friendship and fun!
