Merry CHRISTMAS!

We were all set
for a wonderful Christmasy week!
We kicked off our week with some hot cocoa.

It was a great way to warm up on a cold wintery day.

Back in the classroom the hot cocoa fun continued with making hot cocoa words.

Then our creative minds got to work.

The kids created some yummy masterpieces out of marshmallows!

Everybody had different ideas on what to create.

Some reindeer showed up.

Even  Rudolph came to join us!

It was a great day decked in GREEN and RED!
Tuesday we were looking good!
We were dressed for success!
The Christmas fun was just oozing out of us from top to bottom!
We had some fun making words  out of cups.

They had to quickly go find the right letter.

Once they found the letter

the put it all together to make a tree!

In the afternoon we took our trees to a whole other level of fancy!
Some stacked them tall.

Some strategically placed them in a row.
They turned out to be beautiful trees!

It was a very cheerful day filled with BRIGHT smiles!

Wednesday was Candy Cane day!

We also had Christmas topper day!
Fancy bows made us smile.
Look at all the reindeer that showed up!

Mrs. Haun was also back

with another fun OLD LADY story!

This time she swallowed a bell!

The kids couldn't believe all the stuff she was swallowing!
She was busy trying to help Santa getting ready for Christmas.

The kids had fun making candy cane creations.

They did great at being candy cane readers!

We also did some candy cane experiments.

We put candy canes in hot water, ice water and vinegar.

The kids were surprised to see what happened!

They had to wait patiently!
They also had fun playing some candy cane games.

We LOVE candy canes!
What could TOP such a sweet day???

PAJAMA DAY!

The kids did a great job of making manger scenes.

What amazing stables they made!

They also had fun retelling the story with puppets.

It was fun to see all of the different pajamas.

And a bunch of matching pajamas too!

Some fun characters

and even hoodie pjs that looked like costumes.

And we didn't even fall asleep with our pj's on.

Finally the day we had all been waiting for
It was time to celebrate JESUS BIRTHDAY!

We played some fun games!

What's a birthday party without balloons!

The partner had to put the "snowballs"

in the bowl
while their partner had to keep the balloon in the air.

If the balloon dropped
 they had to start over.
They worked hard.
But they did great!
They were all winners!
They were also busy making ornaments.

These ornaments were stuffed with surprises.

Look inside for a special memory of 2020!

CHEERS to a wonderful week!
