Time to Shine!

Even with a short week, we were ready to shine like stars!

We headed out on an adventure looking for our Baby King.

When we stepped out of our door,

we noticed there were stars with numbers on them!

We found the preschoolers playing but no Baby King.

Another star appeared!

So we kept on walking.
We found a star by the kitchen.
SO... of course we stopped to see the cooks thinking maybe the Baby King was hungry.
They hadn't seen him, but they were making some YUMMY food!

Our star search continued...
and led us to the office!

Mrs. Schmidt knows A LOT of things, but she didn't know where the king was.

Mrs. Haun was in the office too, but she hadn't seen Him either.

One of the kindergartners noticed Mrs. Schmidt's camera and saw another star!

The star led us outside.

Brrr... we hung onto our crowns and headed out the door.

From a distance, we noticed a star on the church doors.

The children thought that was a great place to look for Jesus.

We made our way up the stairs...

and found another star.

We looked everywhere.  But the Baby King was nowhere to be found.

We headed back outside, and discovered another star!

It led us to the junior high building.

Mr. Marolf was there, but he had't seen our Baby King.

We popped in to see some WISE 8th graders.

They had a lot of great ideas, but hadn't seen our King.

So we ventured back outside.

This journey was getting long and cold.

The children were tired but REFUSED to give up!

Suddenly from afar they saw a star!

We hurried to see where the star led us.

The 18th star appeared on the door to our building.

We could hardly contain our excitement!

The last star led us right to our classroom.

There we found a treasure box.

Inside were stars, reminding us that Jesus is always with us, AND that we should SHINE like stars!

These are definitely WISE boys and girls.

Back in the classroom we did some more star searching.

We even found some letters in our classroom.

Our stargazing continued as we examined the painting Starry Night.
These little artists set to work making their own masterpieces.

This cold week couldn't stop our smiles and our adventures!
