T-rrific Week!

It was one T-rrific week!

Tuesday we showed up in our favorite T-shirts!

We had a t-shirt hunt...

looking for different words.
We then turned it into a t-shirt store
and had to figure out the prices of the t-shirts.
We took a break from our t-shirt fun...

and headed down to the church basement.

We tried to be tricky and surprise our prayer pals
but we couldn't contain our excitement!

We were excited to share some special pictures with them.
They shared with us a few things too!

They even helped us tie our shoes.

So many smiles to share

and stories to tell.
We found out a few things about them too...

For example,  these prayer pals even have rescue dogs!

So blessed to have these special people...

praying for our kindergartners.

And so blessed to call them our friends.
Back in the classroom our T-rrific adventures continued with tie-dying tiny t-shirts!
Finally it was time for our t-party!

We had toast
that we tore into pieces

to make the letter T.

Some tigers

a tag blanket

two trucks

and two turtles came to our t-party.
It was a tasty and terrific T-Party!
The tasty treats continued...

with Muffins for Moms.

Some wonderful and lovely ladies

joined us for breakfast!

OUR MOMS!

They also joined us for a special chapel.
What a great way...

to start our day!

A tummy full of sweets and our mouth full of smiles!

We went a little "nuts" as we talked about squirrels.

Mrs. Fuhr was up to her tricks again...

as she hid the acorn and the children had to figure out which squirrel took it!

They had so much fun, they wanted to be the tricky squirrel too!
Our week wasn't quite over...

We were all "tied" up

and "twisted" up with more adventures!

Word twister was quite the challenge,
but the kids LOVED it

and were AMAZINGLY flexible!
We also headed to the gym to watch some third graders do some amazing things...

It was WORLD CUP STACKING DAY!

We cheered on those third graders

as they raced,

made team towers,

and made unbelievable stacking cup towers.

It was exciting to watch and fun to see third graders we knew quite well!  :)
Back in the classroom we were stacking up "turtle shells"!

And creating a few
turtle shells of our own.

As we finished up our story of the Battle of Jericho,

we marched down to the commons to recreate the story.

We marched and we marched!

6 times we marched around the city of Jericho!

On the 7th time around we blew our trumpets and shouted!

To our surprise, the wall came tumbling down!

Thanks to some wonderful 4th graders (who have A LOT of self-control), we have a great memory of the Battle of Jericho!  :)

Another tricky store appeared in our classroom!  A TOY store!

In order to buy these toys, the children had to TOSS the TOY to their terrific partner!

We have quite the shoppers in our classroom!

AND terrific catchers too!

Our week ended with a TERRIFIC Friday reader!

I wonder what is STACKED up for next week!
