Moving On...

We were all geared up...
to move our way into some summer fun!

We drove our way through town.  The "police officer" made sure we made a complete stop at each popcorn word.

Balancing our vehicles was a very important job of the mechanics.

We ended our day by celebrating knowing all of our popcorn words!

Each child wrote their name by the popcorn word they thought the kernels would land near.

We waited and waited until the popcorn started flying!

We made a big mess, but it sure was exciting!

The popcorn tasted great too!

Rain couldn't stop our SUPER day

from flying in!

We were ready to celebrate our school year SUPER HERO style!

We did a little bean bag tossing as we tried to land on different letters.
The next challenge was to aim for words!

We were up for the big challenge!

Even Mr. Debrick stopped by to show us his super skills.

We also had to use our super breath to pop words!

These great readers were just bubbling with excitement!

Our super day wasn't done yet...
We flew over to the church basement to visit with our prayer pals one last time.

What a special group of friends and prayers pals we made this year!

More high flying fun came in the afternoon.

Is it a bird, a plane, SUPERMAN????

No, it was a helicopter!!!

The helicopter landed right on our soccer field!

One of our kindergarten moms is a paramedic on a helicopter.

We were able to sit on the inside of the helicopter and look around.

Then we went inside and visited with her and some more paramedics.
It was one SUPER day!

We hustled our way to Wednesday.

After reading the book You Are Special by Max Lucado, we showed some of the talents that God has give to us.
We headed straight to the gym to show our fast running skills.

Two girls had some other moves to show us!

What excellent gymnasts they are!

Next up were our piano players.

They were very brave

and showed us their musical talents.
Mr. Debrick and the PTL had one more special treat for us...

SHAVED ICE!

What a tasty treat!

THANK YOU PTL!

We ended our day with a special chapel celebrating our year in kindergarten.
CONGRATULATIONS to these amazing children!
Jesus loves you and so do I!

Here is a little video I showed the kids the last day of school.  I have never had a group of kindergartners who loved saying and singing their Bible verses as much as this group.  May they continue to "HIDE GOD'S WORD" in their hearts.
Thanks again for an AMAZING year!
