We were gearing up for the big move to first grade.
We kicked off the week with our favorite characters "Elephant and Piggie".
We read LOTS of books by the author Mo Willems,
and worked hard to create our own Mo Willem's characters.
Finishing off our day was a very fun visitor!
Phoenix the police dog even showed us a few tricks!
Officer Fischer and Phoenix were AMAZING to visit with!
A beekeeper showed up on Tuesday.
It was Miss Bevirt. Not only is she a teacher; she is going to be a beekeeper!
Tuesday we also had a special chapel service. Some of our prayer pals came to join us.
More exciting than that was a preschooler got baptized!
We also headed over to church to visit with Mr. Thoelke this week.
He played a few songs for us and shows us how the organ works.
He is one talented guy!
We loved visiting with him and probably could have stayed all day!
Another visitor showed up to play!
Mr. Mike also WORKED us hard.
This personal trainer even made us do push ups!
However, he sure made working out a lot of fun!
We were cooking up a storm on Thursday as Miss Betty and Miss Julia returned!
For their final "cooking show" they talked about whole and half.
RAISE your hand if you love cooking!
They taught us "Sharing is caring!"
That helped us get ready for our visit with Mrs. Fore. She is a baker! She helps out with a company called "Sweet Celebrations" as well as baking for her own business.
She brought us cupcakes!
The kids were able to decorate them...
and of course eat them!
Sweet success!
Friday we were headed to the MAGIC HOUSE!
Look at all the fun we had!
They pretended to go the bank...
to get money
to go shopping at the grocery store.
The hospital was another fun part of the trip.
We have a lot of great doctors
and nurses!
The Magic House had a few more surprises!
We loved fishing...
and putting our fish back in the pond!
A bunch of mechanics showed up too!
Service with a smile!
The ice cream store was also open for business.
After we were in the Children's Village, we went to work.
We worked hard...
designing our own communities.
We had so much fun we didn't want to leave!
It truly was a great day filled with Magical Moments!
Here is a look at a little video we put together for the month of May...
May there always be kindergarten!
