We kicked off the week with MARVELOUS MONKEY MONDAY!
We were moving and a shaking
as we made monkey bread.
First we took 4 pieces of dough...
then we put them in cinnamon and sugar
and began to SHAKE!
While we waited for it to cook, we did some monkeying around.
The results were well worth the wait!
These monkeys LOVED it!
The fun didn't stop there!
More fun messes kept popping up on Tuesday.
We read the book Mouse Paint, which inspired us to create our own messy mice.
We used our fingers to paint the mice.
The mixing made a marvelous mess!
Some MAGIC mice showed up too!
The magician made the mice disappear and the children had to guess which letter was gone!
Wednesday we talked about the weather. It was a "LAMB" day!
We were making our own wind
as we blew words to each other.
Then the children had to read the "windy" words to make a sentence.
The fun just kept popping up Thursday!
We had to read our popcorn words
and try to feed Poppy the Monster without getting eaten!
More monstrous fun showed up when Mr. Marolf arrived.
We had a few interesting things to ask him. :)
AND he read us one of his favorite books, Where the Wild Things Are.
We ROARED our most terrible ROAR!
He also taught us to "BE STILL".
We are still working on that one!
Our week was not complete until a few special people showed up!
