What time is it?
Game time!
We put on our game faces
and got ready for SUPER BOWL MONDAY!
The football players lined up...
then they grabbed the flags with words on them.
They had to make the flags into a sentence.
TOUCHDOWN!
It was a very exciting game!
We also had some quarterbacks throwing the ball to spell words.
Next we headed to the gym.
We huddled up with Mr. Kuhlmann,
where he taught us to always begin with prayer.
Next we began our warm-up.
It was important to learn the proper football stance.
We were already to go!
Next we worked on our running skills.
We had to sneak past Mr. Kuhlmann!
We had quite the moves!
Next Mr. Kuhlmann showed us how to tackle.
Mr. Kuhlmann didn't even know what hit him.
We had a GREAT time
with Mr. Kuhlmann!
We hope he can come back again!
It was a SUPER day!
Tuesday we were working as a team...
to build words.
We were also getting a little messy...
as we built houses out of graham crackers.
YUMMY!
The children also created a blueprint
and designed their own houses.
We also had a special visitor on Tuesday.
Pastor Rouland came and taught us all about Ash Wednesday.
So Wednesday we headed over to chapel for an important Ash Wednesday service.
Wednesday we were also working on measuring.
We used linking cubes to measure things in the hallway,
but nothing measures up to the love of Jesus!
Thursday the fun valentine boxes arrived!
The children had fun passing out their valentines.
Whose ready to party?
This group is!
Some very fun people arrived
to help with our party!
We played a fun cupid game.
It took the kids' breath away!
We also painted our hands.
The kids had so much fun...
creating beautiful hearts!
We also LOVED
making valentines for the birds!
Of course we had to have a YUMMY snack!
It was a great day!
Filled with love and friendship!
We couldn't have done it
without all of our special helpers!
