More SNOW business!

This week we had fun talking about friendship...

and winter fun!

We started off the week with a snowball fight!

We threw the "snowballs"...

and then had to read the words.
More snowy fun took place outside as we practiced writing...

in the snow!
Making snowman sentences warmed us up.

So did measuring our winter wear!

My scarf was over 80 linking cubes long!

Wednesday was a very special day!

It was Donuts for Dads!

Some very special dads...
and grandpas too

showed up for a yummy treat!

They shared lots of great smiles...
and warm hugs too!

Some of them were even able to join us for chapel!

We had a wonderful chapel service with the whole school.
It was a fun morning!

The letter V brought some fun too!  We had fun with vowels!
We wore special vowel vests that helped us make words.

Some crazy vests also showed up to help us with our balancing skills.

We used the bears to help us balance things in our classroom...

Even the birthday girl tried it out!
The snowstorm of fun continued as we practiced writing in the "snow".

Hands up if you like "SNOWSTORMS!"

Some kids even got creative and built snow forts and snowball throwing machines!

We ended the week with some "sledding".

We slid the letters over to the  other side...

where they had to build a word on the sled.

There was a "bed" on the sled!

We also created a ramp to send some words sledding!

They had to catch the word and read it to their partner.  Wheee!

Our wintery fun wouldn't have been complete without ice skating!

The kindergartners painted with ice to discover the words they had written.

The best part of the week was learning how God makes us all very special!

Each one of us unique.
But when we get together...
The picture is complete."
