There was no hiding from the fun this week!
We were all twisted up with the letter T.
We played a little game of twister...
as we read the words before getting all tangled up.
We headed over to church on Tuesday...
to see our prayer pals.
We wished them a Merry Christmas
and gave them our Christmas cards.
We had a few hugs to give them too.
Songs of Christmas filled the room...
as we joined together in Christmas carols.
Some of us even had a few dance moves!
It was a great way to celebrate Christmas.
We always have so much fun...
when we get together!
A few of us even have our own special handshakes.
What great friends we've made!
Mrs. Haun also stopped by to read us.
She had a little Christmas gift for us...
and we had lots of hugs for her!
Wednesday we had a very exciting project planned.
We got together with the fourth graders.
They helped us make cards for our homebound friends.
We had a great time making cards...
but there was more to this fun adventure...
We also got dressed up
and recreated the Nativity Story.
Mr. Debrick also popped by to help us wrap up some presents.
Shhh... it is a surprise!
Candy cane adventures came on Thursday.
We were able to sort and make patterns with the candy canes.
We took a closer look at them...
and discovered they were actually the shape of the letter J.
We also weighed
and balanced them.
Sinking and floating experiments...
were more fun adventures that took place.
Friday we were ready to party!
Lots of fun people came to help out with the celebration.
The kids had a great time!
Their hands were busy...
making special projects
and crafts...
playing lots of fun games...
It was so much fun!
The best part was celebrating Jesus' birthday!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
