Seuss on the loose...

We were ready for more adventures...
We were ready to put together another great week!

It was time to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday!

So we headed to Lutheran High...

where we met some great high schoolers.

We worked hard...
as we celebrated "Read Across America" day.
Our goal was to read as many Dr. Seuss books as we could.

For every book we read...
We put a puzzle piece down.
Our new friends were very good readers...
and runners too!
We kept reading and reading...
They read to us,
and we read to them.
Our puzzle was looking good!
But we weren't done...
Book by book...
we read our way closer to
Reading across America.
We were getting tired...
but we kept going...
and the smiles kept coming.
Finally the last book was read...

and Mr. Kuhlmann put in the last piece!

Together we read across America! It was quite the journey...

and we met some great friends along the way!

We headed back to school...

It was quite the day of celebration!
We also celebrated another birthday this week!
And celebrated with the State Champion girls basketball team!
Way to go girls!
We also learned to fill each other's "buckets" this week,

as we talked about ways to show kindness.
We read books together...
We learned how to play cards...

and show good sportsmanship.
We even worked together to create some amazing inventions.
We were lined up for one final adventure...
We enjoyed the king of ing!
We painted our own special crowns...

It was a ROYAL way to end the day...

More adventures with Dr. Seuss are sure to pop up soon...
