Hopping our way through the week...

We hopped our way right out of February...
Last week's fun week was hard to match...
But we gave it our best!
Monday some fun 5th graders came...

They helped us with a very fun project.
Be looking for another special video from us soon!
Tuesday we headed over to see our Prayer Pals.
The kindergartners' faces just lit up
when I told them we were going to see their Prayer Pals.
I think the feeling was mutual.
We made them some special pictures...
And read them a few stories too.
They read a few stories to us too.

It was another special day...
and we can't wait to see our fun friends again!
We were ready to warm up at our "Mitten Store".
The mittens cost a nickel...
But the smiles were free!
We also had fun painting mittens...

and matching mittens too.

Wednesday was big day for us!

We had been practicing all Fit February for this special day...
The day of the Hop-a-thon had arrived!
We worked really hard.  We hopped...
and hopped
and CHEERED...
and HOPPED some more!
We truly deserved a gold medal for our big hearts and hopping feet!
Wednesday a special visitor came and taught us all about healthy eating.

We then did some investigating of what foods we eat.
We ended Wednesday with another fun group of friends.

The 7th graders came to help us.
We worked hard...

as we wrote some invitations for our grandparents.

But...We took a few breaks to have fun too!  :)

After writing invitations it was time to mail them.
We had to do a little practicing first.
We were ready to deliver our special invitations.
So we bundled up...

and headed out to the mailbox.

With each letter we delivered...

and smile

and a hug

were also inside each envelope.  :)

We closed it up tight.

Lifted in the flag and said good-bye to our mail!

We also made some special deliveries to our classroom...

as we pretended to be the tooth fairy!
The tooth fairy delivered a special note and a little bit of money too!
We even did a little EGGsperment...
to show what happens to our teeth when we drink sugary drinks.
Next came our wonderful nurse.
She taught us all about germs
and washing our hands.
Miss Katie put special "germ"lotion on our hands.
After washing our hands...
She checked to make sure we were germ free!
We are expert hand washers!
To end our week...

we had another FUN Friday reader!
Put your hands up if you had a great week!
