Lutheran Schools Week!

Lutheran School's Week was quite the week...

We kicked off Monday in our pajamas!
Pajama Day didn't tire us out...we were ready to celebrate!
Tuesday was a very busy day for us.

It was our 100th day of school!
Our hands were busy getting ready for this big day...
We made a 100 day snack...
that left our bellies grumbling and our faces smiling.
We tried running for 100 seconds...
which was actually easier than holding our breath for 100 seconds.  :)
We also did some building...100 SNAPOS!
100 pattern blocks...
100 dominoes...
and 100 snap cubes...
100 reasons to smile!
Our fun day ended with a special concert by AriSon!

We LOVED it, but...

celebrating 100 days of school sure was exhausting!  :)
Wednesday brought in some very "grown-up" looking children!
It was like  magic how they grew up right before my very eyes!
We had some teachers and librarians show up.
Some professional athletes...
a rock star...
some police officers...
and doctors...
and of course a mad scientist!
To finish off this special day, a special visitor came to read.  Mrs. Schaible used to be the kindergarten teacher at Zion!
Spirit Day left us cheering with excitement on Thursday!
"We've got spirit yes we do..."
"We've got spirit. How about you?"
Our spirit led us straight to a fun volleyball game.  The 8th graders verses the teachers.
There was more than just teachers that came to play...
Louie from the Blues came to show a little spirit too!  :)
Friday was Sports Day!
Without a shadow of a doubt it was a great way to end the week!
As we talked about Groundhog's Day and shadows, we went searching for our shadows...
We didn't find our shadows, but we did find out just how far 100 steps would take us.
We ended Sports Day with some amazing jumpers!
We could hardly believe our eyes at some of their great tricks!
They were an inspiring group of young men and women...
that left our hearts jumping for joy!
Whew!  What a week!  I wonder what next week will be like...
