The week started off with God adding a new Bobcat to his flock here at Zion. Natalia Joy Reed was born on Leap Day February 29th at 10:46 AM. Please send lots of thoughts and prayers to Mrs Reed and her family with the birth of their baby girl.
In Like a Lion Out Like a Lamb. We started off the week talking about March weather and the saying In Like a Lion out Like a Lamb. We charted Lion day and Lamb Days. We were so excited to report that we had all 4 Lamb days this week.
We had the opportunity to visit Lutheran St Charles for an experience with their Communication's class. We took part in reading across America celebrating Dr Seuss's birthday by reading his books with some special friends. There were so many great memories made on the field trip I could not decide what to do. I created a slideshow and included all of the great moments we caught there:
During Jesus time this week we took the time to paint the Lord's Prayer. We used 8 colors to help us add visual clues to the meaning of the prayer. We then followed up in Art with painting the Lord's Prayer:
Grandparent's Day was another huge success this week. Watching the kids interact with their special friends reminded me of how important family is in our lives. Here is another slideshow of all the great memories made that day:

During reading we read the book called "Rattletrap Car". We then created our own cars with play dough:
