God is Love.

We love...Because God first loved us.
God's love was shining throughout our week.
Mrs. Mudd taught us at chapel you can't keep love in a jar
or in a bag...

because God's love will come a bubblin' through!

Our fourth grade buddies stopped by this week.

They worked hard to help us finish our invitations to our grandparents.

Then we spent some time reading stories with each other.

The cold weather couldn't stop us from mailing these special invites to our grandparents.
We bundled up and headed out the door.

Each child was able to put their invitations in Zion's mailbox.
The kids hurried to try to beat the cold.
These invites were mailed with a  lot of love and care!

Then we closed the door and put up the flag.

Fit February continued as we practiced our jumping skills.

We are getting already for the KIDS HEART CHALLENGE next week.

The kids even discovered some new ways to jump...
And Mrs. Steinbacher showed up to help us with our long rope jumping.

A great organization called LEAPS and BOUNDS showed up to help us work with our emotions.

The kids had a great time searching through "orbeez" searching for different emotions.

Blowing our way through a maze helped the kids learn how to use their breath to calm.  AND it was a lot of fun!

We also did some yoga.

I think some kids have done this before!

The kids also had fun drawing different emotions.

It was a GREAT way to spend a rainy morning.

Mrs. Helmkamp was back with another challenging project.

The kids were challenged to make a heart out of legos!

They worked really hard, trying to figure out how to get the right shape...

But they LOVED it!

Some valentine fun showed up early as we practiced measuring and buying valentines.

The kids also balance things out with balancing heart activity.

They had to balance all kind of little hearts and big heart.

Finally we were ready to pass out some valentines of our own.

They each brought in their own unique Valentine box.

They had so much fun delivering

Valentines to their friends.
Finally it was time to PARTY!
Our wonderful room parents and helpers were back to help us celebrate.
The kids blew flower petals into a bucket...

and made a wonderful heart wreath.

They had SO much fun playing musical hearts and acting out different animals.
They also worked hard
on making a special Valentine' Day picture.
They glued down their picture and made it look like they were blowing hearts.
We even had a game
where the kids pretended to be cupid.
They had to shoot the arrow into the heart.
They came up with some very interesting strategies to get the arrow into the heart.

Some evens stood on one foot!

We LOVED our party!

It was a great way to end our week!

We will see how next week measures up...
