It's Good to Give Thanks to the Lord...

We were hanging around for some Thanksgiving adventures.

Monday we practiced for our Thanksgiving parade
by marching around the room.

The weather was so beautiful
we headed outside

to play some Native American games.
The kids tossed the "arrow" into the ring.
They also had a great time rolling the hoop
and shooting the arrow through the hoop.

The kids had fun enjoying the amazing weather
and playing some fun games.

Tuesday we were busy preparing for our Thanksgiving feast!

Together we made a pumpkin pie.

Each child was able to add something to our pie.

Some added the eggs.
and some spices.
Some thought it was already beginnging to smell like pumpkin pie!
Some weren't so sure how it would turn out!
But we stirred it up and prayed for the best!
Tuesday was also our special Thanksgiving Parade.

We took our parade on the road.
We met some preschoolers first!
Then we stopped by to see the cooks

and wished them a happy Thanksgiving.

Next stop was Mrs. Horn's ELP classroom.

These little friends were a little nervous about our loud instruments.

SO we showed them how they worked.
Even the teachers were amazed by our instruments.

We headed out and found Mrs. Abilock so we wished her a happy Thanksgiving too!
Our parade continued as we headed over to the church.

We were able to see some of our Prayer Pals!

So we played for them
and gave them some giant hugs.

AND we told them to have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

We also stopped by the church office

and then sang REALLY loud for the people in the school office!

We got a few people to come to the window to listen.  :)

We began heading back to our classroom, but the kids didn't want the parade to end!

So we stopped by Mrs. Rouland's room quick.
The kids had a great time
visiting some of their old friends.

The fun continued back in the classroom with a missing turkey game.
"Who took the turkey from the turkey farm?"

"Who me?  Couldn't be!"
After they found the turkey,

they had to pay me for it.

Thanksgiving fun continued with Mrs. Lohman leading our chapel this week.

Her class did a GREAT job
of reminding us to praise God for ALL of our blessings.

Back in the classroom we weren't laying down on the job

we were busy making creations that reminded us of what we are thankful for...

houses...

family

and friends.
Finally it was time for our Thanksgiving Feast!

A lot of wonderful people came to join us for our feast.

The food was so yummy...

But the company was even better!

We even made some new friends.

We even found some friends we already new!

And some faces we new really well!

It was a great day of feasting

and fun.

We are so blessed

to call the people of Zion

our family.

Give thanks to the Lord

for He is good.

His love endures forever.
Psalm 107:1

So thankful for each of these smiling faces.
Happy Thanksgiving!
