A TREE-MENDOUS Week of Visitors.

We had a tree-mendous week!

We were very busy getting ready for Christmas.

We are quite the tree decorators!

We were also busy making "gifts"!

Be watching for some great gifts coming home this week!

Game Day was another exciting event that took place this week.

The kids brought in some of their favorite games.

UNO was definitely a favorite!

They did a great job of playing together.

Of course Monopoly was a favorite too!

There were some new games I had never heard of!

The kids did a great job of teaching their friends how to play.

Game Day was a FUN DAY!

This week we also learned another game from Mrs. Steinbacher.

She taught us Sports Stacking.

The kids worked hard stacking cups

and taking them down.

They even did a relay race

and played a game called POPCORN!

Mrs. Steinbacher is a great teacher!

She is one AWESOME lady!

Mrs. Haun also stopped by the library to read to us another great story.

We read a story about an old lady who swallowed some bells!

Mrs. Haun also showed a special statue of Santa worshiping Jesus.  This reminded us that without Jesus there wouldn't be Christmas.
We had a great time visiting with Mrs. Haun.

Mrs. Martin is the Spanish teacher at our school.

She stopped by to invite us to a very special celebration next week!
Mr. Maddick is one of our fourth grade teachers at Zion.  He taught us a little about his guitar.
The kids LOVED it and had a lot of good questions for him.
And of course the "Grinch" stopped by!

He was busy stealing letters

and Christmas trees!

We worked hard to deliver the trees back to the right letter.

The Grinch also left us some Grinch slime!

It was slippery

and stretchy

and of course slimy!

The kids also had a great time designing their own WHOVILLE.

They are quite the architects!

They even made special rooms for Cindy Loo Who.

Whoville looks like a great place to live.

The best part of the week was acting out the TRUE Christmas Story.

We can't wait to share our story with you!

Next week looks like a great week to celebrate Jesus' birthday!
