God is Love.

AHHHH!  What a week we had!

As we celebrated Ash Wednesday AND Valentine's Day
it was a great week to remember God's love for us!

Pastor Reitz came to visit us.

He talked to us about Ash Wednesday

and showed the kids what the ashes would be like.

We were also busy balancing hearts.

We used candy hearts to balance other fun hearts.
It was quite the balancing act.
To top that off the kids loved sinking and floating the hearts.

Mr. Marolf led our Ash Wednesday service.

We left chapel with a great reminder of how much Jesus loves us.
The best VALENTINE ever!

It was a great way to kick off our Valentine's Day party!

Special snacks always bring smiles to kindergartners faces...

and these great snacks were no exception.

Playing valentine bingo was also exciting!
The kids were also hard at work

sewing hearts and

making a beautiful hot air balloon!
It was a WONDERFUL way to celebrate a very special day.

We were completely inVESTED

in making Friday a GREAT day!

The sun was shining bright and so were our smiles!

We were all geared up...

to practice our jumping skills!

Mrs. Steinbacher invited us to the gym to doing a little jumping for JUMP ROPE for heart!

These kids have springs in their shoes!

They jumped side to side.
They jumped forward and backward.

AND they stuck the landing.  They are ready for Wednesday's Olympic event!

Back in the classroom we were also getting ready for President's Day...

by building "White Houses".

This one even had a bowling alley and a movie theater!

The President might need to call these kids to make some updates on the White House.  :)

The kids also had a great time playing

"Heads and Tails" with quarters and pennies.

It was quite the battle!

It was plain to see this was a great week!

However, our week wasn't complete until our FUN Friday reader arrived!
Our week was definitely filled with reminders that...

GOD IS LOVE.
