All kinds of fun
popped up in kindergarten
as we worked on the letter P!
Yes, we sailed our way to another great week!
We celebrated Columbus Day by reading the "map" and sailing to the right picture.
Looking for treasure on our alphabet map was also exciting!
Columbus Day also inspired us to create boats.
We discovered some things float...
and others do not!
We then chose what would be the best boat to sail in.
We had a lot of fun with pumpkins this week too!
We read the book The Legend of the Spookley the Square Pumpkin
This inspired us to create our own shape pumpkins.
and some fancy
pumpkin patches.
Our week of learning and fun wasn't quite done...
We were VERY excited
to join the school
in cheering on our cross country runners!
They headed to state this weekend!
We wished them good luck!
It was a fun week, but nothing measured up to our fun field trip!
We headed to Eagle Fork Pumpkin Patch.
We arrived in style!
A bunch of fun grown ups joined us on our adventure!
We could hardly contain our excitement!
There were things to dig
and things to shovel.
We climbed our way to a fun playground
complete with a slide.
A fun hayride...
also made our trip exciting!
On our scavenger hunt...
we did find a few living creatures
like a goat!

| We also found some little pumpkins. And some BIG pumpkins. |
Even some bumpy pumpkins appeared.
It was a great fall day for a field trip!
Before we left, we picked out
the perfect pumpkin.
We claimed it as our own.
We thanked Farmer Charlie for a great time.
We really didn't want to leave!
It was a great day full of fun!
What a positively perfect week!
