Here we go...
We were all tied up this week
learning all kinds of new things
and new faces.
We headed over to church
to take a school wide picture.
It took a lot of patience but it turned out great.
We headed back to our classroom
to find more new adventures waiting for us.
A new, shy friend named Jelly showed up at Jesus time.
We also heard a story about how a kindergarten class got ready for kindergarten.
The Kissing Hand was another story that we read.
So we decided to make a kissing hand of our very own.
It will be a special reminder of the first day of school.
We rolled right into more adventures
as we began building
and creating.
It took lots of great teamwork to build these towers.
The children also enjoyed working with the teddy bears.
Day 2 brought more fun with our new friends!
Pete the Cat came with his colorful shoes and...
his colorful friends.
We worked on making some shoe stores for Pete.
Some of the shoes fit just right inside the store.
Other shoes led us to the door.
We also were busy painting what we would do in our school shoes.
There was no stopping
these great minds from building
and discovering!
We made it to Friday with lots of new friends and smiles too!
Singing helped us kick off the day!
What a great group of singers!
We also practiced reading together. I already have some "Pigeon book" readers!
A new math "tool" showed up and got our creative brains working hard.
Space Camp kicked off on Friday too!
SO...we were busy getting ready for the big Solar Eclipse.
We decided to make some rocket ships to help us get ready.
WOW! I think we are ready to BLAST OFF
to another great week!
