Nothing quite measured up to this great week!
We learned about all kinds of fun jobs!
Mrs. Braswell came in and talked to the kids about being a nurse.
She is a "baby" nurse.
She even brought in some fetal models for the the children to look at.
They were amazed at how tiny the babies were.
The children also got to pretend to be nurses.
Mrs. Braswell checked out their hearts.
They checked each other's hearts too!
The children did a great job of listening...
and asking questions.
Mrs. Helmkamp was also back with her be-bots!
This time she was reviewing letters with the kids.
Another fun visitor came in the afternoon.
Mr. Buehrle stopped by to talk about being a baseball player!
He showed them a lot of great baseball stuff!
Then we headed to the gym.
Mr. Buehrle helped us with a little throwing and hitting practice.
We really didn't want to see him go
we were having so much fun!
Maybe he'll come back to visit again some day.
We were just getting started with our fun week!
Next up was Mrs. Paul. A very fun vet!
She brought lots of special critters!
We were able to feed some of them.
And pet some of them.
The squirrel was pretty squirrelly!
A dog also showed up that we were able to practice our bandaging skills on!
It was another great visit!
In the afternoon we decided to work with some animals too!
We even created our own zoos!
Thursday we had a very special visit from my brother who is a basketball coach.
We were able to SKYPE with him about his job.
Each child was then able to ask him one question. Once again great questions! We found out he does indeed like his sister. :)
Friday we waited and waited for one more visitor to show up!
We even created pictures of her!
Finally a wonderful group of lovely ladies showed up to help us celebrate MOM'S DAY!
What a FUN bunch they are!
