Dynamite Week!

We were ready for  a DYNAMITE week with the letter D!
We were ready to be D-tectives looking for adventures...

Monday brought DOT Day!

We made dot names...
And made letters with dotted dominoes.

We even read a book called The Dot and created our own dots.

We were in for more DOGgone fun on Tuesday...

"Who let the letters out?" was a great game to play.

We also enjoyed retelling Go Dog Go!
Outside we went for some more DYNAMITE adventures.
Was it a bird, a plane...
No it was a ROCKET!
We were amazed at the 8th graders rocket show!
The kindergartners can't wait to make their own rockets someday.

Wednesday brought a COLORFUL dog adventure.

We even found some colorful paw prints...

and created our own spotted dog.
Thursday had us searching for more dynamite adventures.

We had a great time being shape detectives and playing a "train game".
A special visitor also showed up on Thursday.

Mr. Debrick read to us a special book about being a secret detective.

This inspired us to be D-tectives looking for the letter D...

and other letters too!
Another special detective showed up...

This time these junior detectives were on a special mission...

They were number detectives!

Mr. Debrick even helped us out.
He showed us a whole list of numbers...

It was quite a great adventure...
that led us all through the school.

But we were still waiting for more...

Some special people finally arrived!

Some DYNAMITE dads showed up!

They couldn't disguise all the fun.
We couldn't disguise all of our excitement!

There was just so much fun, I couldn't fit all the pictures on here.

So here is a special video...

I wonder what we will be up to next week...
