This week was another great week built around friendship...
We worked hard...
But still had time for some fun.
We inVESTed a lot of time into working with vowels...
We discovered every word has a vowel!
Some fun 8th graders came to visit us.
They taught us a little Spanish.
They read to us some special books...
that they had written themselves.
They taught us all about the weather.
"Muy bueno"!
We had some more fun visitors show up on Wednesday...
It was Donuts for Dads!
A bunch of fun dads...
came for donuts
and brought with them lots of fun
and lots of smiles too!
What a great bunch of dads!
Some were even able to stay for chapel!
This week we also experimented with water.
We tested to see how long it would take to freeze.
We even painted with ice!
After freezing the water, we decided to see how long it would take to melt.
Another visitor stopped by to experiment with water... "Miss Julia"!
She looked a lot like Miss Limback, but she talked a little different. :)
She helped the kindergartners follow a very special recipe.
We discovered yellow water and blue water make...GREEN WATER!
It was quite the "Cooking Show"! Miss Julia promised to return soon. :)
We had one final visitor to end our week! What a fun Friday reader!
"We
are a box of crayons each one of us unique
But when we get together the picture is more complete"
