Another great week...
full of fun learning adventures
that made us want to dance and sing!
A bunch of feathered friends waddled into our classroom...
They are such interesting creatures and great listeners too!
They even helped us with our reading.
Another friendly visitor was back...
"Miss Julia" taught us all about full...
and empty at her "Big Cooking Show".
We enjoyed the "Cooking Show" so much...
We decided to make up our own little show.
We put the "fun"...
in FUNnel!
Our cooking continued with cookies!
After reading the story, The Doorbell Rang, we decided to share some cookies.
AND then...
Cookie Monster showed up!
He shared some yummy cookies...
and LOTS of hugs too!
We loved having Cookie Monster come.
We didn't want him to ever leave!
But we knew he had to get back to Sesame Street.
Our fun with cookies continued as we had a "cookie store"
and made a graph of our favorite cookies.
We then packaged up our cookies
and got ready to deliver them.
Each kindergartner picked a special person from Zion to deliver to.
We wanted to say thank you for ALL of their hard work...
and for making Zion such a special place to learn.
We left them with a sweet treat and little smile too!
Friday brought the letter O!
So we made some outstanding O necklaces that were good enough to eat!
The best part of the week was learning how unique we are.
Even before we were born...
we had little arms and legs
a mouth, eyes, and a nose.
What's more AMAZING than that...
even before we were born,
God knew our names and loved us.
When were done looking at the babies, one little child prayed,
"Thank you God for making us so unique!".
"I have called you by name. You are mine."
