We were all lined for a great year!
We had a lot of fun
building and creating.
They enjoyed measuring the tables with SNAP-O's!
Some kids even made patterns with them.
Others tried to reach the ceiling with them!
These building blocks were a little bit of a balancing act.

It was so fun to see their creative brains working hard.

Best of all was watching them CHEER for each other!
They also had fun exploring with the magnatiles.

It was a BEAUTIFUL week to be outside!
The sunshine brought a lot of smiles to their faces!
It was great to get out on the soccer field
and RUN
and play catch!
We wish we could have stayed and played outside ALL day!
We had a lot of fun in the classroom too! We read some great books like Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten.
and
The Kissing Hand
We then practiced putting ourselves in a bubble and not "popping" our friends' bubbles.
Math time brought teddy bear counters.
The kids did an AMAZING job of following directions and putting the "Papa bears" to sleep.
They made sure I didn't wake the bears and matched up the baby bears to the Papa bears.
They also had fun exploring with pattern blocks and giving the bears some chairs.
Thursday brought some SUPER kids to our classroom!
We practiced "flying" through the classroom.
We worked really hard to stay in our bubbles and not bump into our friends.
Some kids even used their "Spidey" senses.
They have quite the SUPER hero dance moves!
We also were SUPER readers and flew to the different letters of the alphabet.
At the IRON MAN station the kids built and created with nuts and bolts.
It was quite the challenge to twist and spin and create.
At the "Dr. Strange"station the kids did a great job of inventing things!
Watch out for more SUPER fun coming next week!
These kids were begging to read our books!
I am so excited to watch these readers grow!
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom was another great story we enjoyed!
The kids then worked together to paint the trunk
and branches of our classroom coconut tree.
They also had a great time designing
and balancing their own alphabet on the coconut tree.
This boy worked SOOO hard to get all of his letters to balance!
It was so fun to watch his face light up with excitement!
It was also fun to watch every child come up with their own ideas of how to create a tree.
Some even made ramps to get the letters go up the tree!
Some kids stacked the up high.
Others had a different balancing plan.
Chick chicka BOOM BOOM!
Will there be enough room?
The kids also had fun painting their very own coconut trees.
Next week we will add some letters to those trees!
More alphabet adventures will also be heading our way...
It was a great week filled with smiles and fun!
We will see you again next week!
