We flew in from vacation to finish off November.
Mrs. Stanglein led our chapel,
reminding us to be thankful everyday of the year.
We were also busy talking about how animals get ready for winter.
We wrote about our favorite one.
Then we painted winter scenes
and added animals to the scenes.
Some bears were getting for the winter in our classroom
and gathering their cubs to get ready to hibernate.
The kids also created bear caves
to help the bears hibernate.
They also played a game hiding the bears in their caves.
Mrs. Helmkamp stopped by this week with some cranberries and toothpicks.
The kids worked hard making some amazing creations!
Check their SEESAW journal to view your child's creation. Some of them even chose to speak about their creation.
Some popcorn words popped up in our room too!
The kids were having a great time making musical popcorn words!
Beat the Clock was another fun game the kids played.
They had a GREAT time trying see how many letter they could match up
before time ran out.
Some kids actually beat the clock!
The kids also had a great time painting their Bible verse with FEATHERS!
Who knew painting with feathers could create such beautiful artwork.
The kids also "ROCKED" at lining up the alphabet
and then challenging each other's letters to see which one was the heaviest.
This was perfect for the story our Friday reader shared with us... The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
The kids battled it out in a "rock, paper, scissors" challenge for this picture!
Good-bye November...
Here comes December!
