"Sensing" it is going to be another fun week!

Put those hands up for another great week!

The sun was out and so were the smiles

as we raced through this short week.

We finished up some camping fun
with some fishing adventures.

The kids also had a great time playing BEAT THE CLOCK.

They raced to the letters
and matched up as many as they could in three minutes.

More exciting than that was our first time having chapel in the church.

Mr. Marolf led our chapel and reminded us to GO and tell others about Jesus.

We were looking for more learning adventures as worked with shapes.

We also painted some messy textures
as we used  our sense of touch.
Our sense of touch also helped to create letters out of clay.

Some kids even made their names.

More letter fun came as we created letters with pattern blocks.

We also used the pattern blocks to retell the story of the Hungry Caterpillar.

He ate a lot of yummy food!

We were also busy using our sense of hearing as Mrs. Helmkamp showed us how to listen to stories on the iPads.

Our listening ears helped us play musical chairs "kindergarten style" to keep our sense of hearing busy.

Adventures with Noah's ark popped up this week too!

The kids had fun creating their own arks .

They also had fun designing their own boats our of aluminum foil

and checking to see if the boats could float (they might ask you for aluminum foil because they had so much fun!).

They were surprised at how well they floated!

They also tested out some other things they thought might float.
It seemed like the perfect activity to get us through the rainy weekend!  :)

Our week wasn't complete until our first Friday reader came.

It was a wonderful week indeed!
