One SENSEsational week!

We were looking for more fun this week!

It was an Explosion of Excitement when the letter E showed up!

We did some exciting experiments with Scientist Limback...

We made "elephant toothpaste"!
We also had an exciting chapel visitor.  Pastor Sam came to tell us about a special mission in India.  Pastor Sam Thompson works at Christian Resource Center in India.  This is a center that helps to
spread the Good News of Jesus in a country that is 97% non christian.  Our chapel offering will go to support the work at the Christian Resource Center as they share Jesus.

We also delivered some "good news" of our own as we delivered a special letter to Mr. Debrick.  We thanked him for being such a good principal (we also had a few questions for him!).

Finally it was time to get ready for our SENSEsational camping day!
First we mixed up some yummy trail mix.  We LOVED using our sense of taste.

We also enjoyed listening to some fun stories.

Nothing beats a good campfire story!

We were all geared up...

CAMPING DAY!

Some wonderful 4th graders came to join us for this special day!

They were such good camping buddies as we went to different SENSEsational campsites.
Mrs. Clark braved the heat and led the children on an EYE SPY hike.

They found lots of fun treasures...

a rock...

a wooden cross...

 even some fish!
It was a HOT one, but Mrs. Steinbacher was SOOO wonderful and cooled us off a little with a "sprinkle".

Camp site number two was the HEARING campsite.

The campers enjoyed some fun tents...

and listening to some fun stories too!

Mr. Debrick was quite the trooper as he helped at the S'mores station!

The sun might have been melting our chocolate chips,

but it didn't stop our fun!

We loved using our sense of smell...

and of course our sense of taste too!

It left us smiling from ear to ear...

and begging for "S'more"!

Well, most of us wanted some more!

The last campsite was using our sense of TOUCH as we created some fun camping collages.

It was one SENSEsational Camping Adventure...

with a bunch of SENSEsational fourth grade friends!

We had quite an exciting week...

but all the excitement left us a little worn out!

I wonder what we have to look forward to next week!
