We "wrapped" up Christmas this week as we celebrated Epiphany.
"Twinkle, twinkle little star.
You led wise men from afar.
Day and night they rode to see.
Baby Jesus born for me!
Twinkle, twinkle little star.
You led wise men from a afar."
We went on a star search looking for our Baby King!
We asked a lot of "wise" people for help.
We traveled a long way searching...
But we could not find our Baby King.
Just when we were about to give up...
the stars led us back to our classroom.
We found a treasure box full of special stars.
This reminded us that Jesus is always with us.
"Jesus Candy" was another fun way we wrapped up Christmas.
We made candy cane explosions,
They smelled yummy!
We also weighed candy canes...
and measured with candy canes.
It was very cool!
A special visitor showed up!
"Miss Julia" stopped by to help us do a little cooking!
The kids put on their aprons...
and decided to do a little creative cooking of their own!
Can't wait to see what we cook up next week!
When in doubt, look up!
