These hands were busy this week!!!
First we headed to Eagle Fork Pumpkin Farm...
We went on a scavenger hunt...
We looked for quiet things...
and noisy things too!
We discovered the tractor was quite noisy (and so were the children on it)!
We even drove a few tractors of our own!
and went on a train ride!
We also found little pumpkins...
some medium-sized pumpkins...
and some BIG pumpkins too!
We even found a few odd pumpkins!
Our hunt was not complete until we found...
the perfect pumpkin!
Of course the best thing we found...
Lots and lots of smiling kindergartners!
We were sad to leave this special place.
But we knew there would be more fun waiting for us back at school...
Painting a picture of our special pumpkins was top on the list of things to do.
We also opened up a pumpkin just to see what was inside...
Some thought it was yucky.
others thought it was slimy!
Some just thought it was GREAT to dig inside!
We scooped and scooped...
until we found enough seeds for...
TASTING!
YUMMY!
Next we got ready for some FIRE SAFETY!
The firefighters came and gave us a few tips.
They even gave us some homework to practice at home!
The firefighters also showed us their gear and how it protects them.
Thank you God for giving us firefighters!
"Raise your hand if you had a great week!"
Our hands might have been busy this week...
but our hearts were filled with JOY!
